National Rural Crime Update


 

HIGH VALUE HORSE THEFT, LANARKSHIRE

 

Police Scotland officer's are appealing for any information that may relate to the report of the theft of 3 horses from a farm in Lanarkshire.

During the evening of 08/06/25 a farm hand at the farm locked two horses within a shed and left one within a field. On returning to them the following morning (9th) all 3 horses were missing.

 

Further enquiry is ongoing but these horses may have been taken to a location elsewhere in Scotland or the wider UK.
